This bag is the result of a special collaboration with my mother, a fused glass artist. She hand selected every color, layered and carefully arranged each glass element into a fusing. I then rolled up her work into a the bag you see today.
Cleaning:
Windex or a similar glass cleaner is safe for cleaning both the inside and outside of the bag. Apply with a soft, non-abrasive cloth or paper towel and wipe gently. For the best shine place your bag in the dishwasher on the gentlest setting and let it cool completely before removing. Evey dishwasher is different so use at your own risk.
Scratches & Everyday Use:
The interior finish is durable enough for normal use. Everyday objects such as keys are generally safe and should not scratch the surface.
Sharp or abrasive objects, however, can damage or scratch the interior. Avoid objects with sharp edges or points like razorblades or extremely rough surfaces like sandpaper.
Handling:
Although your glass bag is stronger than it may appear, it is still glass. Avoid impacts, drops, and impact with hard surfaces.
Unlike a leather bag, your glass bag has the potential to last for thousands of years if handled with care.

Are the bags actually functional, or are they art pieces?
They are both functional bags and original works of art. Many of the bags are handcrafted to be worn and enjoyed as a sculptural statement, whether at a special event, a party, or shamelessly displayed in your home.
While glass is a remarkably strong material, like any handcrafted artwork, each bag should be handled and worn with care.
Can I request a custom glass bag?
Absolutely, we are always creating new pieces and love collaborating with individuals to bring forth new creations. Visit our Commissions page to submit your request and start the conversation. We will respond in within 1-2 business days.
Why are so many pieces listed as sold out?
Each piece is made to order and uniquely handcrafted. Product photos on our website show the original artwork; when a piece is available to be remade, your order will be a newly created reproduction made especially for you.
Because molten glass is shaped by hand, subtle variations in color, pattern, form, and finish are natural and part of what makes each piece one of a kind.

General Care Instructions
Cleaning:

Avoid exposing the interior to excessive water, harsh chemicals, solvents, or other cleaning products. Do not put your glass bag in the dishwasher or fill it up with water. It is not a vase.
