This design came from a vision of making the spike pendant in a more elegant, softer feel. By setting the diamonds more traditionally using a burnish setting, various diamond sizes are placed on all sides of the pendant.

Inspired by the first collaboration glass bag between Víya and Josh Raiffe. This pendant, measuring 1" tall, mimics the spikes used in the original design by setting the diamonds culet up, or inverted. The diamonds are set only on the front side to avoid discomfort on the skin.

The risk of losing a stone—or even multiple stones—increases. So yes, wear your jewelry, but wear it carefully.

Are the bags actually functional, or are they art pieces?
They are both functional bags and original works of art. Many of the bags are handcrafted to be worn and enjoyed as a sculptural statement, whether at a special event, a party, or shamelessly displayed in your home.
While glass is a remarkably strong material, like any handcrafted artwork, each bag should be handled and worn with care.

Why are so many pieces listed as sold out?
Each piece is made to order and uniquely handcrafted. Product photos on our website show the original artwork; when a piece is available to be remade, your order will be a newly created reproduction made especially for you.
Because molten glass is shaped by hand, subtle variations in color, pattern, form, and finish are natural and part of what makes each piece one of a kind.
How do I care for my Raiffe glass piece?

General Care Instructions
Cleaning:
Windex or a similar glass cleaner is safe for cleaning both the inside and outside of the bag. Apply with a soft, non-abrasive cloth or paper towel and wipe gently.
Avoid exposing the interior to excessive water, harsh chemicals, solvents, or other cleaning products. Do not put your glass bag in the dishwasher or fill it up with water. It is not a vase.
Scratches & Everyday Use:
The interior finish is durable enough for normal use. Everyday objects such as keys are generally safe and should not scratch the surface.
Sharp or abrasive objects, however, can damage or scratch the mirrorized or gilded finish. Avoid objects with sharp edges or points.
Handling:
Although your glass bag is stronger than it may appear, it is still glass. Avoid impacts, drops, and sudden contact with hard surfaces.
Unlike a leather bag, your glass bag has the potential to last for thousands of years if handled with care.
